What You'll Do
Day 1: Lahad Datu/ Borneo Rainforest Lodge/ Nature Trails/ Tree-Top Canopy Walk/ Night Drive
At 8:00 AM, your adventure begins with a warm welcome upon arrival at Lahad Datu Airport, where you will meet your guide for a smooth check-in and trip briefing. By 9:30 AM, you will embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive through the lush landscapes of Borneo, heading toward the renowned Borneo Rainforest Lodge in Danum Valley.
Upon arrival at 12:00 PM, check in to your chalet and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with fresh, local ingredients. After settling in, at 2:30 PM, attend an informative slide presentation at the lodge’s conference room, where you’ll gain valuable insight into the region’s incredible biodiversity and conservation efforts.
At 3:00 PM, gear up for an afternoon trek along the nature trails, culminating in a visit to the Danum Valley Canopy Walkway. Suspended high above the forest floor, the walkway offers breathtaking views and the chance to spot diverse rainforest wildlife up close.
Return to the lodge by 7:00 PM for a satisfying dinner featuring a variety of local and international dishes. Then, at 8:30 PM, end the day with a thrilling night drive (subject to weather conditions) in search of elusive nocturnal animals in their natural habitat.

After an exciting day, retire to your comfortable accommodations at the lodge, where you’ll rest and rejuvenate for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Jungle Trek/ Kadazandusun Burial Site - Coffin Cliff/ Jacuzzi Pool/ Tubing in Danum River/ Night Walk
Start your day at 7:00 AM with a hearty breakfast at the lodge. At 9:00 AM, embark on a morning jungle trek to the ancient Kadazandusun burial site and Coffin Cliff, followed by stunning views from the View Point and a refreshing dip in the natural Jacuzzi Pool.
Return to the lodge for lunch at 12:30 PM. In the afternoon at 3:00 PM, choose between a guided jungle trek or a fun tubing session along the Danum River.
Enjoy dinner at 7:00 PM, then at 8:30 PM, head out for another night drive (weather permitting) in search of nocturnal wildlife.

Day 3: Borneo Rainforest Lodge/ Lahad Datu
At 8:00 AM, enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge as you take in the peaceful rainforest surroundings. The rest of the morning is free for you to unwind—whether with a quiet walk, some leisure time at the lodge, or simply soaking in the final moments of your jungle escape.
At 12:00 PM, gather for one last delicious lunch before checking out. By 12:30 PM, begin your 2.5-hour journey back to Lahad Datu Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure in Danum Valley.
